Trackify uses only strictly necessary cookies to keep you authenticated. We do not use advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking cookies of any kind.

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to the site owner. Trackify uses HTTP-only cookies specifically to manage secure user authentication sessions.
2. Cookies We Use
Trackify uses only one category of cookies — strictly necessary session cookies. These are essential for the platform to function and cannot be disabled.

3. What We Do NOT Use
- Advertising cookies — We do not serve or track any advertisements.
- Analytics cookies — We do not use Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or any third-party analytics services.
- Social media cookies — We have no Facebook Pixel, Twitter Tag, or similar tracking integrations.
- Fingerprinting or supercookies — We do not use any device fingerprinting techniques.
4. Local Storage
In addition to cookies, Trackify may use your browser's localStorage to temporarily cache non-sensitive display preferences (such as sidebar state). No personal or academic data is stored in localStorage. This data is local to your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
5. Security of Authentication Cookies
Our authentication cookie is set with the following security flags to protect your account:
- HttpOnly: The cookie cannot be accessed or modified by JavaScript, preventing XSS attacks.
- Secure: The cookie is only transmitted over HTTPS connections in production environments.

6. Managing Cookies
You can delete your Trackify authentication cookie at any time by logging out of the platform, which immediately invalidates your session. You may also clear all cookies through your browser settings. Note that deleting the authentication cookie will sign you out of all active sessions.
Most modern browsers allow you to view, block, or delete cookies through their settings menu. Refer to your browser's help documentation for specific instructions.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy if we introduce new features that require different browser storage mechanisms. We will notify registered users by email when such material changes are made.
